We met in the Fall 2020 during a global pandemic. After two mutual swipes right and a few days of endless conversation, we decided to meet up at the outdoor bar of Station 117 on LBI. We planned to enjoy a brew (or five) on a crisp September afternoon. Lex was early and Brynne was late. Neither one of us was looking for anything serious at the time (ha ha), but we quickly realized that the conversation was too easy and too good, the company was even better. And before we knew it, hours had flown by. Looking back, it’s amazing how a simple decision to meet up for drinks led to such a beautiful journey. Though it began in the midst of uncertainty, but it turned into a story filled with joy, love, and a shared sense of adventure. And as we continued to write our own chapters together, we realized that sometimes the best things come when you least expect them, making every moment even sweeter.
